How we protect your patients' data
A clinic holds some of the most private information a person has. A diagnosis such as HIV, a mental-health condition or a pregnancy can affect someone's work, family and safety if it reaches the wrong person. We treat every record that way.
- Each clinic's data is kept separate
- Every record carries its clinic, and the database itself refuses to show it to anyone outside that clinic. This is enforced in the database, not only hidden in the app.
- Encrypted in transit and at rest
- Data travels over an encrypted connection, and is stored encrypted on disk.
- Backed up every night
- An encrypted copy of the database is made every night and kept separately.
- Staff see only what their role allows
- You decide what each position can see and do, such as who can record payments, see reports or change settings.
- Every login is recorded
- Each sign-in is logged with its time, device and approximate location, so the clinic owner can see who has been using the account.
